Tru Energy Skin Care

Instructional Videos and FAQ's

Welcome, and thank you again for purchasing Tru Energy!  We've created this page to help you better understand how to use the Tru Energy Skin Care products so YOU can get the great results you may have seen in the before and after pictures on the Wholetones video with Michael S Tyrrell, Cathy Goldstein, Lillian Tyrrell and Marty Fahncke.

Below, there are 3 videos to choose from:

Video #1  This is a full, detailed video that walks you step by step EXACTLY how to do the Tru Energy protocol.  We suggest you watch this video first so you understand why and how each step in the protocol can make you look and feel younger.  Video is 27 minutes long.

Video #2  This is the “Follow along” video that walks you through the protocol as you watch it.  Set this one up on your tablet or computer and a mirror, and you'll be able to follow along yourself as Cathy walks you through the process.  Video is 14 minutes long (Once you get the hang of doing the protocol on your own, the entire process should be 6 minutes)

Video #3  The FAQ.  (Frequently Asked Questions)  In this video, Cathy answers questions that have been submitted over the last few weeks by Tru Energy users just like you.  It's about 21 minutes long, and has several questions and answers.  We highly recommend you watch at least the first 4 ½ minutes of this video, as there is a very critical answer in there about creams.  Some of the other questions we answer in this video:

  • How do I use all of the creams that came with the full system?
  • What creams should I use if I only bought the wand and not the full system?
  • How often should I do the protocol?
  • Should my Tru Energy wand “turn on” or make a noise or “do something”?

Thanks for watching, and we hope these videos have been helpful for you!

Sincerely,

The Anti-Aging Secret

Posted on October 25, 2015 by Anne Hall

What’s Most Important?
Keeping cells nourished, protected and energized. Because the healthier your cells, the less quickly you age, period.

Toxic Stress Shortens the Life of Our Cells
Day after day and month after month, the cells of our bodies are replacing themselves. Our cells are dying – and therefore, constantly aging -- because we’re not feeding them properly. A research study found that if a cell is given the right nutrients, cells can outlive the human body.

Get Vonda's Secret Weapon Against Aging!

But what if our cells were getting all their nutritional needs met, at all times? What then? How long would those cells survive? More specifically, how long would the healthy, youthful cells of our skin stay young?

“The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats that degenerates.
Renew this fluid at regular intervals, give the cell what it requires for nutrition,
and as far as we know, the pulsation of life can go on forever.”
– Dr. Alexis Carroll, Nobel Prize Winner

But what does feeding them right mean?  It boils down to two major factors: our behavior, and our environment.

What to Avoid
First and foremost, we are drowning in toxic chemicals. We’re poisoning our environment and ourselves.

  • Foods with Additives & Preservatives - These have no place in the human body.
  • Environmental Toxins - They go right to the cells in our body.
  • Undue Stress - The biggest culprit of toxins in our cells

Easy changes that really make a big difference
Dehydration shows up as dull sagging skin. Toxic chemicals on your body wreck our cells, this wreckage shows up right on our faces. Here is what is important and can make a fundamental change on a cellular level. This has the biggest impact on how your skin will look especially in the future.

  • Plenty of good clean water - Rule of thumb: 1 quart per every 50 pounds
  • Eat Organic When Possible - Veggies and fruit such as berries are especially important
  • Exercise - Decreases stress hormones and increases oxygen to cells.  A 20 min. walk or 10 min. on a mini trampoline daily can be huge for detoxing your cells
  • Use Products Free of Chemicals - Avoiding these can benefit your health and skin.

Substitute natural cleaners for your house and especially on your body. A good skincare will add hydration and nutrients as well as hold moisture in the cell. Ingredients such as aloe vera and other botanicals acts to feed your cells, hydrating and plumping naturally for lasting results.

We know what we do today affects us in our future. We know that if we brush our teeth that we can save our teeth well into the later years of our life. We know we can not grow plants in dirt. To have a flourishing garden, we have to give the soil moisture and nutrients that feed the plants to give the fruit its beautiful color and taste. So it would only make sense that we also need to feed our body the nutrients that give life to our cells. Protect our skin from chemicals and dehydration. Recover your beautiful skin and preserve it for a healthy, dewy, hydrated and beautiful glow.

Healthy Skin Tips 101 - How not to waste your money....

Posted on October 21, 2015 by Anne Hall

Exfoliating is the key to smooth, youthful skin.

Here is how it works. Dead skin cells and sebum, (oils from the pores) build up on the surface of the skin. The cells have bonds that are hard to break, and the oil is sticky and clogs pores. If they don’t release from the surface, your skin can not breath. What does all of this mean for your face? You’ll most likely have an uneven texture that looks dull and lusterless.  Dead cells that lock in oil leads to combination skin that can be oily and dry and flaky. All of this can also lead to acne.

Avoid this when exfoliating

  • Harsh cleansers, acids and chemicals - Peel many layers of skin leaving skin raw, irritated
  • Plastic (Polyethylene) micro beads - These are bad for you and the environment
  • Walnut or other shells - (cause micro abrasions and damage your skin)
  • Salt - Even though it dissolves it is rough and jagged and scratch your skin

Your exfoliant should be manual exfoliating rather than chemicals. Chemicals strip down and dont stop at the dead skin; they damage the new cells below it.  Manual exfoliating should be gentle dissolving beads that you can apply to your face with fingertips or cleansing brush. They should also hydrate your skin and help to hold in hydration.

This is what makes the difference

  • Smooth Round Ester Beads - Slowly dissolve for easy abrasion and hydration
  • Natural Fruit Enzymes - Easy on the skin, powerful on oil, dead cell bonds
  • Honeysuckle Extract - Natual Antibacterial
  • Natural Botanicals - Balance the nature of your skin
  • Restorative Antioxidants - Oil protected vitamin C for max benefit
  • Naturally Derived Hydroxyl Acid Such as Caprylic Acid - Yes there are natural hydroxy acid

Benefits of a Good Exfoliate

  • Decrease pore size
  • Even your skin tone
  • Reduce the appearance of redness and dark spots
  • Restoring a radiant and youthful look by uncovering the new cells

The BIG PLUS

Exfoliating 2 to 3 x per week opens the way for moisturizing products to penetrate more deeply into the skin, which makes them more effective. In short, breaking the bonds of dead cells and removing this hard to penetrate layer will allow you to get the most out of your Anti-Aging Serums, Protective Daytime Treatment and Nourishing Overnight Treatment.

Try our Deep Purifying Facial Scrub! It's all natural and made to gently clean and exfoliate using only natural ingredients.  Click here to check it out

How Toxins Can Affect Your Body

Posted on October 14, 2015 by Anne Hall

The human body is bombarded every day with toxins.  Toxins can prematurely age our skin.

If you give your body the nutrients that enable it to function optimally, then youre teaching it to help, protect, and heal itself.  It’s a concept known as “functional nutrition”.   The body that can produce healthy cells, heal, and detox itself will stay younger longer.  So, avoid chemicals and toxins and look for functional skin care packed with the nutrients that our skin needs to thrive.

Read the Label and Avoid These Ingredients
Look at the ingredient list on the back of your cosmetic jar, they usually work much like the list of ingredients on food. The ingredients are usually in the order of volume (or weight) starting at the top and getting less and less as they go towards the end of the list.  Binders and solvents at the top of the list such as Ethylhexyl Palmitate or Octyl Palmitate or chemicals such as  PEG’s (Polyethylene glycol), Propylene Glycol or Sodium Lauryl (or Laureth) Sulfate cost pennies.  So it is very likely you are spending your money on a lot of fillers, chemicals, and quick fix ingredients and getting very small amounts and low percentages of active ingredients.

Studies have shown that many common chemical additives found in skin care products are harmful to our skin and overall health.  Some of the worst offenders have been shown to have significant health repercussions, even cancer.  These include the following:

  • Parabens
  • Sulfates
  • Synthetic Fragrances
  • Synthetic Dyes
  • Petrochemicals or Petroleum
  • Phthalates
  • Triclosan
  • PEGs
  • Plus hidden chemicals such as Butylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Polysorbates and Ceteth.

This is what does work - Vitamins and minerals

Vitamins and minerals are key nutrients in a great skincare regime. It should also include hydrating ingredients with a delivery system to help moisture penetrate deep into the cell. There is no sense in putting great ingredients in a product if all they do is sit on the surface of the skin. Tru Energy utilizes a patented Oleosome Technology. Oleosome Technology has the job of carrying nutrients deep into the cell where they can be used to feed the cell. This is where great looking healthy skin begins.

Your Skincare should nourish your skin with the nutrients it needs to detox and repair itself, without contributing toxins to your body, as so many products do today.   The result?  Genuinely healthier, more youthful skin.

For great looking skin, it is always best to go with nature rather then to push against it.

  • Give your skin the ‘food’ it needs
  • Don’t add toxic chemicals that cause aging
  • Go for long term health rather then a short term results with long term damage
  • AND exfoliate so products can penetrate
